Facebook Business Page - Creation Method and Pro Tips

Here is a quick method to make you new Facebook business page for brand. Here, you also get the solution if you are unable to create additional (extra) Facebook page.

Facebook Page Create Method on Mobile and Desktop

To create Facebook page using mobile phone, click on your Facebook account profile picture in mobile app, then Pages and then select Create.

Update:

Now Facebook has changed this settings location for mobile app. So, here is the new method of Facebook page creation on mobile.

Click Profile Picture → scroll down and click Public Presence → Here you should click “Create a new page” option.

The next setup process of FB page creation is the same for both desktop and on mobile, as described below.

Alternatively, you can simply click on this link to Create Facebook Page whether you are on desktop or mobile.

On Desktop, click dotted Menu button and then under Create select Page.

Enter the name of Facebook page, choose a category and write a short introduction about your page. Do not worry because you can change everything after creating the Facebook page.

Click on Create page button. Enter you contact and location details. You can also change it later.

For Action button you have multiple options such as Messenger message, WhatsApp message, call or contact us. The action button appears below your Facebook page and user can click it to send you a message or visit your website page. For example, you can enter the link of your website URL in ‘Contact us’ action button.

On next window, you can connect your WhatsApp number with Facebook page, Select Done and your Facebook business page is ready.

To switch between personal and business profile, click on your profile picture on top right corner, whether you are on mobile phone or desktop.

Click Settings to change the name of your Facebook page. At first priority, you should select a cool username of Facebook page. Username should be as short as possible because it becomes integral part of your Facebook URL in browser.

If a username is not available, you can try some other options. Please never change the username of your Facebook page later, otherwise all shared links of your posts will break.

Select About tab and enter business information about page such as Email, website, and business hours.

You can add links of your other social media accounts such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram.

To do that select a social media platform, for example Twitter. Now open your Twitter account, copy the username from there (without @ sign), and paste it in the username field of the Facebook page.

Method to Fix “You have Created Too Many Pages Recently”

If you try to create a new Facebook page while using desktop computer/laptop, you may encounter this message.

“You have Created Too Many Pages Recently”.

As a result, you are unable to create an additional Facebook page.

To resolve this, first create Facebook page using the Facebook mobile app. Create page on mobile.

Click Profile Picture → scroll down and click Public Presence → Here you should click “Create a new page” option.

After that, open your Facebook account in browser on desktop, or refresh the tab if already opened.

Success!

Your new Facebook page (you just created in mobile) will show up on desktop. Now, you can easily edit your page on on PC.
