YouTube business account vs personal channel – the Difference
You must have a Gmail or Google account to create YouTube channel. Google Account becomes the foundation stone and basis for using all Google services including YouTube. For example, if you delete your Google Account, your YouTube channel will also be deleted with it.
Using your Google account, you can create both personal YouTube channel as well as YouTube channel for your business or brand.
YouTube personal account
You can create personal YouTube channel with your own Google account and only you can manage your personal channel.
But don’t worry, you can convert your personal channel to business channel at any later stage.
The name of your personal YouTube channel is the same as that of your Google account.
If you change the name of personal YouTube channel, it will also change the name on your Google account.
YouTube business account
On the other hand, with business YouTube channel, you can assign more people to manage your channel and link your channel with your brand.
You can separately create both personal as well as business YouTube channels.
You can also create more than one business channels on single Google account. For example, Irfan Hayat is my personal YouTube channel whereas Dozro are my business YouTube channel.
Having a YouTube channel is even more important in terms of SEO or search engine optimization as your videos will appear in Google search when a user searches some product or service related to your business.
