Method to Change Password of anti-theft Steering Wheel Lock
Here is the method to change code of the 5 digit combination steering wheel password lock.
Next to the hooks is the Protector Cap, Remove its screw with a screwdriver and take out the cap.
Beside the cap is the Code Switch toggle button. Move it in the opposite direction.
Pro Tip: Code Switch will only move when the current (old) correct password is correctly dialed.
Turn the lock to the opposite side. The two dots represent the Password Matching Line.
The factory set password of the steering wheel lock is 00000. You should replace it with your own code.
Rotate the dial wheels to set your custom password in front of the matching line.
You should keep your password secret.
Pro Tip: To keep your password secret, always scramble/mismatch the dial digits when lock is not being used.
Now move the Code Switch to its original position but make sure that while moving the Switch, the combo dial numbers must not change. Most people inadvertently do this mistake and then unable to unlock the steering wheel lock.
Fix the Protector Cap, and tight screw. Congratulations, code is changed.
