• You can use custom and professional email from any third party provider such as Microsoft 365 or your custom email provided by collaboration of GoDaddy and Microsoft.

• You get 14 day free trial if you directly signup through Google Workspace. However, if you get it through Squarespace, you get one additional benefit of free subscription of Google Workspace custom email for first year.

• You cannot use custom emails from two or more providers at the same time – which means that you cannot use custom business email (support@yoursite.com) from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 at the same time. • Apparently, Squarespace earns some percentage by selling subscriptions of Google Workspace as billing is managed by Squarespace.

Always use some other email address – your personal email address at Yahoo or Gmail for account login on Squarespace. Your Workspace registration will be integrated with your account. It means that you should use any personal email for Squarespace site account and custom email for interaction with your customers. Please note that your Squarespace account email is not visible to website visitors.

Why I Preferred Getting business email from Google Workspace

I already use Microsoft 365 Personal and have benefits of all apps such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Editor, PowerPoint, Skype etc. Now I should also use Google Workspace to benefit from Google apps such as Google Meet. Therefore, it would not be wise for double paying to Microsoft for the same benefits. So, I should also use Google Workspace for some diversified benefits.

Though Microsoft has edge over Google because most desktop computers are Windows based and Microsoft office apps become integral part of the system. However, you can also create shortcuts or use Google Docs, Slides, etc over internet in browser. You can also install Google Drive on your desktop as a desktop client to sync or edit data files and folders. According to Google, Docs can be used offline within Chrome browser.

I also decided to get Google Workspace through Squarespace, because after registering custom email through Squarespace, I get dashboard right inside my Squarespace website, through which I can manage my email campaigns.
