Method to apply background color highlight to text in Squarespace
Do you want to apply animated background color behind a text in similar fashion?
To do that, select any text. In the text toolbar, click the Highlight button.
There are several options to highlight a text such as Cross, Wavy Line, Strikethrough, Circle but my favorite is the Marker option.
Turn on the Animation toggle button and set the desired animation duration.
To apply a specific color, click the color circle, and select the Custom option. Drag the slider and choose your favorite color from the palette.
To apply the same color under different texts, you can also paste a color code.
Click on any empty space to apply the tweaks.
Done.
To remove a text highlight in Squarespace, just select the highlighted text, click Highlight button and then select the Remove option.
