How to Use the English Virtual Keyboard by Dozro
Welcome to our virtual keyboard! This guide will help you quickly understand its features and how to type efficiently.
1. Basic Typing
Letters, Numbers, and Symbols: Simply click or tap on the keys to type characters into the text area above the keyboard.
2. Modifiers: Shift & Caps Lock
Shift (⇧) Key:
Letters: Tap

once to type the next letter in uppercase. It will automatically revert to lowercase after one character.Symbols/Numbers: Tap

once, then tap a number or symbol key to type its uppercase/shifted alternative (e.g.,1

). It remains active for symbols until you type a letter or tapShift

twice quickly to lock it on (like Caps Lock for all keys). Tap again to unlock. The key will turn green when active.
Caps Lock Key:

3. Action & Utility Row (Top Row)
This row provides essential editing and utility functions:
Undo: Reverts your last typing or editing action.
Redo: Re-applies an action that you previously undid.
Copy:
If you have text selected in the box, it copies only the selected text.
If no text is selected, it copies all text from the box.
A "Copied!" message will briefly appear to confirm.
Delete: Acts like a
Backspace
key. It deletes the character immediately before your cursor. If you have text selected, it deletes the entire selection.Clear All: Clears all text from the typing area. Use with caution, as this cannot be undone in a single step (though you can
Undo
multiple times to restore character by character).Emoji:
Toggles the emoji panel on/off. When active, the main keyboard will hide, and a grid of emojis will appear.
When the emoji panel is active, a “Keyboard” button appears. You can click or tap this button to switch back to typing on the keyboard.
Just drag the Emoji panel to scroll, and tap an emoji or special symbol to insert it.
After selecting an emoji, the panel automatically closes, and the main keyboard reappears.
4. Cursor Navigation Row (Second Row)
These buttons help you move your typing cursor precisely within the text:
← (Left Arrow): Moves the cursor one character to the left.
→ (Right Arrow): Moves the cursor one character to the right.
Home: Moves the cursor to the beginning of the current line.
End: Moves the cursor to the end of the current line.
5. Other Special Keys
Space: Inserts a space.
Enter: Inserts a new line/paragraph break.
Tab: Inserts a tab character (indents text).
Ctrl / Alt / Alt Gr: These keys are included for layout completeness but do not perform actions themselves on the virtual keyboard. They are primarily for physical keyboard shortcuts.
6. Physical Keyboard Synchronization
If you type using your physical keyboard while the virtual keyboard is visible, the virtual keys will briefly animate to show which key you pressed.
The
Shift
andCaps Lock
states will also synchronize.
