Method to Hide Show Favorites Button (★ Symbol) in Microsoft Edge

For easy and quick access to your websites and bookmarks in Edge browser, you can permanently keep ‘Favorites’ button in the toolbar of Edge browser.

This button also becomes useful when you preferred to hide the favorites bar.

Method to Hide Show Favorites Button (★ Symbol) in Microsoft Edge

Navigation Path: ‘Settings and More’ (or press Alt+F) → SettingsAppearance → Select which buttons to show on the toolbar: → Favorites button.

Next to ‘Favorites button’ click the toggle option either to show or hide favorites icon which appears like a star (★).

When you select the option to ‘show favorites bar only on new tabs’, then your favorites only briefly display when you click + symbol to open a new tab.

When a link is loaded in new tab, the favorites bar will automatically disappear. I think, it is very useful function to show favorites as well as saving space.

Favorites icon rests on the right side next to address bar.
